“Shoes Of Faith”
Words and Music by Ryan Newcomb

I had a friend who took to walking,
His feet took to him some places he never should have been,
Then one day his eyes were opened,
He realized that road he was on would reach a lonely end,
That night he broke down in tears,
He swallowed his pride and laid down his fears,
He said, Lord, “You gotta help me ‘cause I just can’t make it on my own,
And, Lord, take these feet where You want them to go,”

I’ll put on my shoes of faith,
And walk by grace,
Each and every day,
In Your truth,
And when this world around me,
Starts to surround me,
I’ll know that the Lord has found me,
And I’ve got my shoes,
My shoes of faith,

Sometimes we don’t know where to start,
We fall on our knees, and we fall apart,
But I believe we don’t have to look too far,
To see our Savior holding our hearts,

|: So put on your shoes of faith,
And walk by grace,
Each and every day,
In His truth,
And when this world around you,
Starts to surround you,
Know that the Lord has found you,
And you’ve got your shoes,
