“The Lighthouse”
Words and Music by Ryan Newcomb

We’d traveled so many different roads,
To come to the very same place,
Still there we were together,
Tired and weary from the crashing waves,
Our lives had been torn,
In so many ways,
Hearts had been broken,
Dreams rearranged,
But we found ourselves,
Right where we started again,
In the arms of each other,
And our Savior and Friend,

I went to the Lighthouse,
To find who I was in who I used to be,
To set my spirit free,
And feel the touch of Your hand,
I went to the Lighthouse,
And I’ll never be the same again,

Now the storms of this world,
Are heavy and strong,
Pulling us under,
Leaving us all alone,
So, Lord, as I wander,
Through these changing tides,
Make me a lighthouse,
Where Your light shines,

Make me a lighthouse,
So everyone can see,
You inside of me,
And in all of who I am,
Make me a lighthouse,
So, I’ll never be the same again,

In this angry world,
That is broken and beat,
A world without hope,
Lost in the sea of this life,
Lord, help me to shine,

Make me a lighthouse,
So everyone can see,
You inside of me,
And in all of who I am,

Make me a lighthouse,
Change this man,
Let me feel the touch of Your hand,
In all of who I am,
Make me a lighthouse,
So, I’ll never be the same again.
