“Walking On The Edge”
Words and Music by Ryan Newcomb

She has a heart that is broken apart,
Almost everyday of the week,
You can see it in her eyes, the tears she cries,
And every time she speaks,
It’s the fear of knowing where you are,
And knowing where you could be,

But why does it have to be this hard?
When all you want,
Is to find out who you really are inside,
This is life,
When you’re walkin’, walkin’ on the edge,

She believes there is something more,
But she’s in a room with no open doors,
And there’s no way for her to get out,
She hears about faith, this talk about grace,
How works won’t get you saved,
She knows she’s lost and she needs to be found,

So why does it have to be this hard?
When all you want,
Is to find out who you really are inside,
This is life,
When you’re walkin’, walkin’ on the edge,

There is Love that is stronger than this world,
It’s a Love that will take you in Its arms,
And never let you go,

Why does it have to be this hard?
When all you want,
Is to find out who you really are inside,
This is life,
When you’re walkin’, walkin’ on the edge.
